Babies

I love the beginning of this. Apparently babies in Namibia are born with the same 'tude as my babies. Fabulous.

Thanksgiving!

I thought it might be a good idea to post about Thanksgiving before Christmas. Yes, I have been a serious blog slacker, it's true.

This is the group we had for Thanksgiving. That is nine out of 11 siblings and our families. We are missing Jacob's family and Russell's family. Which is kind of funny. Because part of the reason we moved Thanksgiving to Friday was so that Russell's family could make it. 10 out of 11 is kind of impressive for our family. But they ditched us. What can you do....

You can tell by the above picture that we decided to do a giant family photo. We haven't done this in years. Mostly because of sheer volume;)

(these are the crazy 12ish year old girls. They like to take silly pictures. See:)

(seen here plus two 16ish year old girls...)

(Proffitt siblings minus two. I don't think I noticed before, but my brothers are kind of hairy lawyers...)

After we took some pics we had our usual over the top ginormous Thanksgiving feast. I won't go into details...

But as you can see it was fabulous weather for eating outside...

Notice the bouncy slide in the background. This is why our kids are usually hungry when we get home from family functions;) Keep a look out for the bounce house and the two under ground trampolines too...

After dinner we had the Proffitt family olympics, of course. Rebecca sets this up and most of us love it...

that is Mitchell kickin' some trash in the gunny sack races...

I don't remember what this game was, but it looks like fun, doesn't it?

Rachael and Breazy in the foreground competing in the three legged race. Mitchell and Miranda are that blur behind them...true, that kid is kind of competitive.

Abigelli wanting to join in

There she goes!

Where is Brenley? This is where I found her:
Sitting on the trampoline painting Addy's nails. Yes, it is perfectly normal for 3 and 4 year old girls to paint each other's nails...

and again on top of the bouncy slide. I swear I hid that nail polish. She found more.
So we put the little girls in jail, where they couldn't do it again. Or the bounce house. It's a rough life...

Mitchell got to spend some quality time with the boy cousins. There aren't many of those, and he'll take the opportunity when he can. It is tough to constantly be surrounded by sisters.
Kindyl was there too. But she must have been hiding most of the time.Poor un photographed middle child.

After it got dark we dragged out all of the chairs and pillows and blankets, turned on the projector, and watched Up! on the side of the house. With ample supplies of pie and hot chocolate of course.I'm not sure why I didn't get any pictures of that. Maybe they are hiding with all of the pictures of Kindyl;) Oh well.

I'm Finally Selling Them...

I know I've been talking about this for a while and some of you have heard it. If you know me you know I make a lot of flowers. For my 4 girls, for gifts, and some of my friends buy them from me. Recently a friend told me that she would much rather pay me to make them then make them herself.

So here's your chance! I've finally decided to open the flower blog that Rachael set up for me months ago.

Go here. And I will try not to be offended when it doesn't get much traffic;)
