Abigail- Finally in her crib!

...Because Brenley FINALLY gave it up! My kids love their cribs. They all have. I remember being told that it is time to move your baby into a big kid bed when they start climbing out of their crib. None of my kids ever did that. They have all been attached to their crib. Almost all of them only got booted when the next kid came around.

Bren was no exception. The child is 31/2 and just agreed to move to a big girl bed.

I am not sure it was for love of the crib as much as dislike for any sort of change. Brenley is the one that notices any type of change in the house. I remember we bought a new lamp for our bedroom and it took her a full day to get over it. She kept telling me that the old one had to go back. She would describe the old one and kept saying, "remember? remember mom? go get it back!"

I am pretty sure 3 year olds just don't like change. She had to see a picture of her (younger) cousin Zanya in a big girl bed before she warmed up to the idea. Then a few short months later...Voila!;)

(yes, Abigail will only sleep on her belly. But don't talk to me about SIDS. Because she sleeps with a fan on AND a pacifier, which both reduce the risk of SIDS. And she is breast fed. So it all evens out...)

I don't believe what they say about babies sleeping on their tummies. ALL of mine slept better and were happier on their tummies. I love the bracelets, did you make them?

All of my kids have loved to sleep on their tummies. They just sleep better. Plus they do not get that flat head from always being on their back. Loved all your posts. Thought I just write once.

Oh, the drama of changing beds! I had my twins on the floor for forever because they kept falling out of a big bed. The matresses just stayed on the floor until they could figure it out.

This sounds like my house! My kids loved cribs. I love the tummy sleeper. All mine are, even the new one. I justify exactly the same way. I laughed when I read it, it sounded just like me!!

Kimball has yet to climb out of his crib...he has two much fun holding onto the railings and jumping! I dread the change to a big boy bed!

You seriously have the cutest babies ever...and the cutest names to go along with them! I think I prefer the babies to stay in cribs as long as possible...less tom-foolery happening in a crib! :)

Oh, who cares what people say about SIDS. All my kids have slept on their tummies and they're alive and well. Besides if someone says that to you then they're just mean and judgmental - you let them sleep in whatever way that gets you a good nights rest. Also, I can't believe your kids like their cribs that much! Mine are always excited to move on.

I fully support you with the baby sleeping on her belly. I actually did it with all of mine. That's how are parent sdid it for us.

I hope mine stay in their cribs as long as your did.
