Amnio update!

My amnio today looked good! The official results won't be in until this afternoon or tomorrow morning, but the ultrasound and the look of the fluid had a couple of good indicators. I am further along than I was when I did Brenley's amnio, and hers turned out great, so I am very optimistic.

I am scheduled to be induced tomorrow afternoon. It took a little persuasion, and the fact that I am already dilated to a 31/2.(apparently, these painful contractions are actually doing something!) And a hospital that had an opening. But it is all working out according to my master plan;)(can you hear the evil laugh? muah ha ha!)

I wanted her birthday to be 10-09-08 because it is so fun and easy to remember.(That, and I am in so much pain right now that I am having a hard time thinking past one day) I didn't really have much hope of it actually happening. But now it looks doable and I am very excited!

(tiny Brenley)

So, unless by some fluke my amnio results don't turn out well, or the hospital gets slammed all of a sudden, we will have our girl here by tomorrow. I am at a 31/2 already, and once I get to a four, and get a good epidural, I am usually ready to have that baby in an hour or so. (TMI?)

So wish me luck! And feel free to send any good baby names my way!

Congrats and good luck! I'm anxious to hear how big she is! My Dr told me yesterday to stay down for one more week and he'll do an ultrasound to see how big my little guy is. I'm hoping for a baby in 2 weeks. I think I'm going to miss the feeling of him moving around in my belly. I'll never have this feeling again. And besides being on bedrest, I am really not feeling too bad. I'm trying to enjoy the last bit of this pregnancy because I'll never be doing it again. You know what I mean???
Good luck tomorrow! The hospital has wireless...take your laptop and post updates soon!!

I'm jealous! Labor/delivery is so thrilling, its almost fun (provided you have a good epidural!) I hope everything goes well, we'll keep you both in our prayers tonight. I hope we get to meet her on Sunday, if you're up for visitors.

I am excited for you. Caleb was born 04/05/06 and everyone thinks it's cool...and easy to remember.
I have been thinking about you lately...unfortunately I am still buried under all these boxes to do anything about it...excuses, excuses.
I am sorry I didn't make it to your shower. My dad flew in the night before. Your gift is sitting here on the table...behind the boxes and I am hoping to get it to you before your little girl grows out of it...hehe
Good luck tomorrow!!! I will be thinking about you.

I came across another cute name(*s): Addison, Scottlyn, Sawyer or maybe Layne. I few to put in your head before the big day tomorrow. Jim and I are having a hard time with boy names. You would think naming your child would be fun not stressful. I think that this will be the first of our children that is still going by little baby and that we have no idea what he shall be called. Maybe that will be his name. Post your great child birth story when all is done.
